belly bump | niceville family photographer

So, my purpose for going to Las Vegas was to surprise my dear Bond Girl "Dorothy" at her baby shower. What a monumental time that was! In addition I did a few belly shots of her and her loving hubby while I was visiting.

They are expecting their second child, a boy this time, in the next couple of weeks.

I am so happy that I was able to be there for the shower and to capture this beautiful time in her life. You are radiant girl!

I can't wait to meet your little man!

sin city | niceville family photographer

I recently was off to Las Vegas for a very special surprise and also a couple of photo shoots while I was there!

What an honor to have photographed their growing family from pregnancy on. For a brief flash back in time go here, here and here.

So, early in the morning (and I mean EARLY) we headed to the Las Vegas sign for some family shots and then spent the rest of the day trying to capture this little doll baby at her best.

For those of you that have had or do have two year old, you know this can be a challenge but we managed.

I love this family as if they were my own and am so honored that they entrust in me to capture the moments in life that only will be a glimpse as the future takes hold.

What a fun time! Thank you for having me!

both shall live | niceville family photographer

This was my first - my first engagement shoot that is. And I had fun!!! This adorable couple was part of the large reunion that I did. Visiting here from Texas, they thought they would take advantage of having the beautiful scenery where they were staying and a photographer on site.

How fun it is to be young and uninhibited. So in love and just beautiful, I wish you two a very happy and fun life together! Congratulations!

organization skills | niceville family photographer

This truly is a super mom! Not only does she keep all four of her children in check and going from place to place all of the time, she also managed to organize the family reunion for 75+ people. Amazing - simply amazing!
The morning that I was supposed to do the reunion shoot, I showed up early to meet this family and do some individual and family shots for them.

I do have to admit that the kids did keep me on my toes but once I whipped out the big guns of hide and seek and of course the bribery of jelly beans, I was able to snap a few.

I had fun and thank you for such a wonderful opportunity!

Holy cow! When I was asked to do a shoot for a large group of people (75+), my first reaction was NO!!! The thought of organizing that many people scared the heck out of me! Well, I decided to take on the challenge and I am so glad that I did. What an amazing group of people to meet and interact with.

I think it is such a wonderful thing that this family has a reunion once a year in order to stay in contact with the ever increasing separation that families experience.

When it comes down to it, all you have is your family in the end and how special it is to have such a large family!

Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity!

truely | niceville family photographer

What an awesome family! Visiting from California, this wonderful family wanted to remember their vacation with a photo shoot on the beach. This family just beamed with love for each other and was so much fun to work with.
We found remnants of a wedding with a a heart in the sand with flower petals. The girls thought it was so pretty and it was a perfect setting for Mom and Dad.

add-on's | niceville family photographer

And of course I couldn't get away with having my kids dressed up for their shoot with their cousins and not get a couple of shots of just them. I have really been needing to update the pics around the house and figured this was a great opportunity

Mr. AJ was in a crazy mood and was intent on giving me the silliest faces that he could make.

You three are the loves of my life and I hope you always keep your wonder and innocence.

I love to have visitors! I mean really, why wouldn't someone want to come visit these beautiful beaches and of course see the most adorable faces that my children have? Well, my sister-in-law, neice and nephew were brave enough to face the hectic lives that we live and stay with us for a week. WE HAD A BLAST!

On the last day of their visit, we headed to the beaches for some family pics. The kids were so excited to be at the beach, they didn't know what to do with themselves. Of course my neice was all over posing for the camera and my nephew stopped for a few brief shots but the water called their names before too long.

Check out the air he got on this jump!

Getting all of the cousins to sit still for a brief moment was quite a challenge but I think we got the job done!

Miss you guys! Come back soon!
